About True Aspect
True Aspect is an independent reference library about antivirus and consumer security concepts, written for readers in Australia and published by KLIMA Z.A.I., s.r.o.
The site exists because the material available on this subject divides unhelpfully into two kinds. Vendor pages describe products rather than ideas, and comparison sites rank products without explaining what the rankings measure. Neither helps a reader who wants to understand what a scanner does before deciding whether to buy one. True Aspect sets out the concepts, one entry at a time, and says plainly where each one stops being useful.

Content is produced by the KLIMA Z.A.I., s.r.o. editorial team. The site does not publish bylines, author biographies or staff profiles, because inventing them is the standard way such pages are padded and True Aspect would rather state the publisher than imply a newsroom that does not exist.
How entries are chosen and maintained
The library covers the concepts a reader in Australia is most likely to need in order to make sense of a security product or a security incident. Selection follows a simple rule: an entry is included when the idea is needed to understand something else on the site, or when it is routinely misunderstood in a way that costs people money. That is why phishing and cloud backup carry as much weight here as detection does, although neither is what an antivirus product is usually bought for.
Entries are written to a fixed shape. Each opens with a two-sentence definition, describes the mechanism, states what the concept does not cover, and links to the related entries that fill those gaps. Claims about Australian law, reporting or official guidance link to the body responsible. Claims that cannot be linked to a primary source are written as general guidance or left out.
Three things are deliberately absent. There are no detection rates, performance benchmarks or test scores, because True Aspect does not conduct tests and will not restate figures it cannot verify. There are no reader testimonials or ratings. And there are no prices, because pricing changes without notice and a stale figure on a third-party page is worse than no figure at all.
Entries are reviewed on a rolling basis, with the whole library checked at least twice a year and individual entries revised sooner when the underlying facts change — a new reporting body, a change in Australian law, or a shift in how a technique works in practice. The date of the most recent check appears in the footer of every page. Corrections are welcome at info@trueaspect.online; a factual error that is pointed out is corrected and the review date is updated.
The commercial relationship, stated plainly
True Aspect is funded by affiliate commission. The site links to the Norton AntiVirus Plus website, and if a reader follows one of those links and buys a subscription, KLIMA Z.A.I., s.r.o. is paid a commission by the affiliate network that operates the link. The reader pays the vendor's normal price.
Honesty requires two further points. First, the only product this site links commercially is a product it is paid to link to — there is no broad survey of the market here, and a reader should not read the presence of one product entry as a judgement that it is the best of its kind. Second, that entry, Norton AntiVirus Plus at a glance, is written only from what the vendor states and lists everything else as not stated, which is why it is shorter on claims than a sales page would be.
What commission does not affect: which concepts are covered, what the entries say, the order of the index, which limitations are described, or whether an entry says that software does not solve a given problem. Several entries conclude that the answer to a reader's question is a habit, a backup or a free platform feature rather than a purchase. The full arrangement is set out on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
How the site is built
True Aspect is static HTML with one stylesheet and one short script. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, loads no web fonts and makes no request to any other server, which is why there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. There is no newsletter, no account and no form anywhere on the site; the only way to contact the publisher is the email address above. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy describe this in detail and are written to match what the code actually does.
What this site is not
- It is not the official site of any product named on it, nor a reseller, partner or authorised source.
- It is not a news outlet, and nothing here is reporting.
- It does not provide professional security, legal or financial advice. For an incident in progress, the bodies listed on the index are the right first call.
- It does not distribute software and offers nothing to download.
Terms governing use of the site are on the Terms of Use page.
